Proving support to those who have served our nation in the military is one way to show our appreciation for their service to our country.

In fact, veteran support appeared as a major talking point during the presidential debates. A primary objective of the PLuS program is to provide professionals who work with veterans the knowledge and strategies they need, so that they in turn may provide that support to the veterans on their campuses.

 In our courses, we cover topics designed to assist professionals working with veterans in higher education who might struggle with disabilities. These topics include:

• Diagnosis and assessment
• Accommodation and intervention
• Academic strategies
• Communication strategies
