From the Land of Hello Kitty - Cyber Weapon to Defeat All

Almost six months have passed since Japan criminalized the creation of computer viruses and it now seems that the Japanese government has decided to opt out.  It seems that “do as I say, not as I do” is a global policy as the Japanese government has contracted ($2.3 million) with Fujitsu Corporation to develop search-and-destroy code.  The intent is to provide countermeasures to internet attacks, but critics worry about the offensive possibilities the project holds.
